UBC Commission on Education and Kärdla Town Government invite you to participate in youth entrepreneurship project “Smart Youth 2013”. The project aims are to initiate youth entrepreneurship, enterprise and initiative. We wait young people who have inventive ideas to participate in entrepreneurship project “Smart Youth 2013”. The aim is to develop product that is usable daily (field is not limited). Project started on 1 February and will finish on 15 June, is rated in two different age groups a) age 13-16 b) age 17-20, both age group winners will receive prize for 750€ (together 1500€). Developed products will be presented on 1-4 October 2013 in XII UBC General Conference, Marienhamn. The project is for students from general or vocational schools. Group of one developed product could be up to four students and they must register their team on page ubc-education.kardla.eu. Participants of the project have to send prototypes of their products to Kärdla Town Government by 15 May and also send description and introduction of the product (small video or pictures). Deadline for submission of products is 15 June. If the products will be received less than 10, the contest will be failed. Products will be rated by UBC formed jury on 20 June. Competition results will be published on ubc-education.kardla.eu and www.ubc.net. Commission will take contact with the winners. The project specifications will not be returned. Please disseminate information on schools, craft teachers, youth centers, youth groups, business associations, etc.
